If you want to develop into a more authentic, bold, and confident leader. If you want to live your life, and run your company aligned with your core values.

You belong here.

This new leadership requires courage, and courage requires vulnerability. You must be willing to fall down, make mistakes, trust yourself anyway, and keep moving forward. The future of leadership belongs to you as a daring leader who is willing to lead from the heart of who you are.

Come discover more about yourself as a daring leader, and how that will change your work, your relationships, and your life.

During this 6 month container you will learn and practice the skills of this new leadership. You will walk away with new language and tools to lead with courage and confidence.

Join this community as we work through the researched backed skill set of courage. You will learn more about leading from vulnerability with emotional intelligence, and why these are crucial for the future of leadership. You’ll connect deeper with your core values, and how to live them out everyday.

We’ll explore the building blocks of trust, giving you the practice to trust yourself and build trust with others.

You’ll learn how to use any failure to get back up and grow stronger.

Join us for the conversations that will inspire you, and challenge you to become the leader you were meant to be.

What is Dare to Lead™?

Based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, Dare to Lead™ is an empirically based courage-building program designed to be facilitated by organizational development professionals.

Brené is a research professor at the University of Houston where she holds the Huffington Foundation – Brené Brown Endowed Chair at The Graduate College of Social Work. She has spent the past two decades studying courage, vulnerability, shame, and empathy, and most recently completed a seven-year study on courageous leadership. She is the author of five #1 New York Times bestsellers: The Gifts of Imperfection, Daring Greatly, Rising Strong, Braving the Wilderness, and Dare to Lead, which also debuted at #1 on The Wall Street Journal and Publisher’s Weekly lists.

The most significant finding from Brené’s latest research is that courage is a collection of four skill sets that are teachable, measurable, and observable. The Dare to Lead™ program focuses on developing these courage-building skills through workshops, trainings, and coaching to help individuals, teams,
and organizations move from armored leadership to daring leadership.

Participants will engage in teachings, tools, and training designed to develop the skills of Courageous Leaders. Participants will engage in exercises and discussions as well as being supported in growing their leadership skills with courage.

Testimonials

What others are saying

“The Dare to Lead training was nothing short of spectacular. They created a container that allowed our group to open up vulnerably and practice the tools in real time. In four short days, I learned about my personal triggers and gained awareness of my underutilized superpowers. As a leader and coach, I gained practices and approaches to take my clients and team deeper in a more meaningful way. I would recommend the Dare to Lead training to any coach or leader who is looking to develop themselves and those they serve.”

- Sebastian Little

“The Dare to Lead training has made a huge difference in the way I lead and coach. The content speaks to so much of what I already know in my heart to be true - that vulnerability and trust are key to building great relationships and great teams - but it gave me the tools and the language to put these abstract qualities into clear, repeatable behaviors. For me, this training is the key link between ontological and facilitative coaching - it helps me, my teams, and my clients put our values into action.”

- Katherine Folk-Sullivan

“I entered the DTL training after reading Brené Brown’s books, listening to the podcasts, TED talks, videos, etc. The training added a much deeper layer of understanding of the material through a combination of exercises and practice in the moment. They created an environment where it felt natural to step into the work vs. just trying to observe it. They transitioned from theory to facilitation, to gentle and powerful nudges to go further, and when there was an opportunity, also provided coaching. I started the training with some understanding of the concepts and left with the desire and confidence to implement them.”

- DD

“I have read all of Brene Brown’s books, but being able to walk through the material in a safe, and empowering environment with Steph, really brought the work into focus. It was truly meaningful to go through the training in a group setting, allowing everyone to experience the power of the work in real time. Best of all, I came away with tangible tools that I have been able to put directly into practice, both in my personal, and professional relationships. This work is ongoing, but Steph’s education, and support have given me the  confidence to really embody the material.”
