Nephi Niven

Nephi Niven is an executive coach, leadership development facilitator, and organizational consultant with more than a decade of experience helping leaders navigate growth, change, and complexity.

Since beginning his coaching practice in 2012, Nephi has worked with executives, founders, nonprofit leaders, and leadership teams across industries ranging from media and technology to social justice, advocacy, and education. His clients have included Fortune 100 organizations, high-growth startups, award-winning creative teams, and some of the largest organizing and advocacy organizations in the United States.

His work spans individual executive coaching, leadership development programs, team effectiveness initiatives, organizational listening and discovery processes, and large-scale change efforts. He has supported leaders through pivotal moments including rapid organizational growth, IPO preparation, leadership transitions, restructuring, culture transformation, and the launch of new offices and business units.

Before becoming a coach, Nephi built a career in creative industries, working internationally as a professional photographer before transitioning to film, television, and digital media production in New York City. He later served as an in-house producer for Condé Nast, experiences that continue to inform his work with visionary leaders, creative professionals, and mission-driven organizations.

Known for his candor, warmth, creativity, and ability to bridge strategy with human dynamics, Nephi helps leaders create meaningful change while remaining connected to their values, purpose, and people.

He divides his time between New York City and New York's Hudson Valley, where he lives with his husband, Greg.
